Asked often.
- Does it cost anything to enter?
- No, and it never will. There is no registration fee, no exam fee, and nothing you have to buy.
- Do I need to have studied the subject before?
- No. The papers test reasoning rather than coursework, and students qualify every year in subjects they have never formally studied. That is deliberate.
- Can my school enter a group of students?
- Yes. Teachers can register a group through the relevant olympiad's site. If your school has not entered before, write to us and we will walk you through it.
- When does registration open?
- Each olympiad runs on its own yearly cycle and posts dates on its own site, so follow whichever one you are interested in.
- I've finished school. Can I still be involved?
- Please get in touch. Former contestants and university students help us set problems, mark papers and coach the training squads.
